Welcome to 2026!

A new year brings renewed focus, fresh energy, and exciting possibilities. As we step into 2026, WISE Literacy Consulting is entering a season of intentional growth by building on the foundation established through research-informed writing and expanding into new ways of supporting literacy learning for families, educators, and schools.

WISE Literacy Consulting remains committed to making reading and writing instruction more understandable, accessible, and meaningful. That mission continues to guide every next step. In the months ahead, this space will grow beyond blog reflections to include resources and services designed to meet the needs of students and educators, while staying firmly grounded in the Science of Reading and effective instructional practice.

One area of growth will be the addition of educational videos focused on literacy development. These videos will provide clear explanations of key reading and writing concepts, practical strategies for supporting learners, and guidance for parents and educators seeking research-aligned literacy support. The goal is to translate complex ideas into usable, everyday practices.

WISE Literacy Consulting will also begin developing an educational resource store, offering tools designed to support reading and writing instruction at home and in the classroom. These resources will reflect the same values found throughout the blog: clarity, intentionality, and alignment with evidence-based literacy practices.

In 2026, WISE Literacy Consulting will also expand into direct student support through tutoring, with a focus on foundational literacy skills and writing development. This work will center on meeting students where they are, strengthening core skills, and building confidence through explicit, supportive instruction.

Alongside work with families and students, WISE Literacy Consulting looks forward to partnering more closely with school leadership teams and educators. This includes collaborating on curriculum development, supporting literacy planning and implementation, and engaging in thoughtful conversations around instructional coherence, MTSS, and strengthening Tier 1 instruction. This work reflects a continued commitment to supporting systems-level literacy improvement alongside individual student growth.

As this new chapter unfolds, the blog will remain a central space for learning, reflection, and connection. Whether you are a parent seeking guidance, an educator refining practice, or a school leader focused on long-term literacy growth, WISE Literacy Consulting is committed to walking alongside you with clarity, care, and purpose.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to a year of growth, learning, and meaningful literacy work ahead.

Warmly,
Dr. Felicia White
